Inside the hand-crafted ceiling and the Signature Stain

By the Editors · October 15, 2026

Many products give the look of wood. Trim My Crib's signature work is the real thing: custom wood ceilings, crafted by hand for the specific room and finished with marine varnish.

Real grain

Real wood has depth and small variations no print can copy. In a sunny Florida room the light moves across it through the day.

Great room with a grid of dark stained wood beams on a white ceiling above a light, coastal living area — Palmera, Wellen Park. Trim My Crib job.

Custom layout

Board direction, beam spacing and stain are worked out for each space, not chosen from a catalog.
